Web design
Templates creation for shopping carts, cms, forums & others

Creating templates from a web design is a slightly different form of layout creation. There will be certain limitations specific to the application (web package) for which the template is being made.

Design Principle - "Websites without Fat"
I tend to focus on functional layouts. With Web 2.0 this has become the natural thing to do. Minimalism in design is my focus. Another thing I'm focussed in is reducing clutter in html code - the 'code junk'.
Beauty is not skin deep
Many automatic html code generating software tend to generate repetitive & unnecessary html codes. In some cases, generating as many as 900 lines of code, for just 15 line content. How it looks on a browser alone mattered.
Small Business Sites
This will be an online profile of your company, and also a set of online brochures, specifications for your products/services. The web hosting companies usually offer a few email addresses, so as an added advantage, you can have corporate email addresses like yourname@companyname.com. This may be a best way to take a first step for the web presence of a company.
Business Websites
Like all other tools of business, websites made for business are aimed at maximizing returns. It should convey a feeling of efficiency & slickness.
Corporate Look:
While the look is important, to emphasize the unique identity, it should also blend technologies seamlessly. Flash & animation may be used, but only just enough to enhance fresh feeling. And invariably the pages should load quickly, and the links are clear and understandable.
